I am a hard-working and dedicated Psychology graduate with over ten years of customer service and business development experience. After many years working in customer service, I am determined to shift into a career in mental health, seeking an opportunity to improve the lives of those struggling with mental health conditions.Throughout my time as a systems administrator and customer service representative, I have gained a deep knowledge of how to provide exceptional customer service at every opportunity. I pride myself in providing the best service possible in every situation, and have formed strong connections with clients and colleagues as a result. My biggest achievement in this role was designing a new company-wide system which focused on our customer interactions and drastically improved customer satisfaction and employee work quality.I am extremely passionate about supporting people struggling with their mental health. In my time studying Psychology at the University of Winchester, I developed a particularly strong interest in depression and anxiety. This can be seen in my final year project, “Exploring Undergraduates’ Willingness to Seek Help from Different Sources: The Role of Mental Health Symptoms and Stigma”. I have also raised money for mental health charities in the past, such as Mind.My previous roles have provided a plethora of valuable experience that will aid me in this new career path, such as working in fast-paced environments, teamwork, and strong communication and listening skills. I am ready to adapt and pursue my dream of making people’s lives better.
