Software engineer, human rights and environmental activist from Moscow, Russia.I have cofounded the OVD-Info, one of the biggest human rights project in Russia where today I am serving in the Council and helping to shape the strategy and it’s implementation. Being a part of the OVD-Info team from the first days I have worked on shaping its IT services, setting up data department and today's project governance structure. I have also achieved a high level of expertise on a wide range of topics such as Freedom of Assembly in Russia, mass detentions, foreign agents law etc and wrote numerous analytical papers which are widely accepted as a high quality expertise.I am also a highly competent software engineer with more than 10 years of professional experience. I have worked a lot in non-commercial sector, mostly with different charities and NGOs. I have also worked for many years in the field of scientific publishing pushing the technical boundaries of this industry with such leading publishers as PLOS, Public Knowledge Project, SciELO, Érudit, eLife and others.I am also serving currently as Deputy Board Chair in the Russian office of Greenpeace.
