Daniel P. Beiter currently practices oil and gas, natural resource, and business law in Houston, Texas. Mr. Beiter graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in History and Sociology. After graduation he completed the Professional Land Management Certificate Program at TCU and began work as a landman performing field and title analyses on exploratory projects in Wyoming and Montana. In the year before beginning law school, Mr. Beiter attended the Engineer Officer’s course at Ft. Leonard-Wood Missouri to complete his military training in the United States Army. Upon completion of his engineer training, Mr. Beiter entered the University of Houston Law Center to pursue his JD. While there, he focused largely on oil and gas, international and commercial arbitration, and business and securities law. He received his JD in May of 2015, and was admitted to practice in Texas November of 2015.Mr. Beiter is an engineer officer with the United States Army Reserve and has held various command and staff positions in both construction and combat units. He is currently undergoing selection to become a civil affairs officer while still pursuing his engineer qualifications. He is active with army officer and engineer alumni organizations.
