Assisting the Norstar Development team in all aspects of project development, including supervision of junior project management staff and support staff, overseeing the preparation of RFPs for projects, coordinating project team members and funding sources, preparing funding applications (LIHC, HOME, FHLB, HHAP, and others) in support of projects, preparing development and operating proformas, and initiating, tracking and oversight of due diligence activities in support of financial closings.

Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating organization's single- and multi-family affordable housing projects and programs to ensure objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. Primary responsibilities include analysis of community data to determine need and financing mechanisms available to meet community need; design of single- and multi-family programs and projects; preparation of funding applications; review of funded proposals to establish time frames, funding limitations, implementation procedures, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources; preparation of status reports and schedule modifications as required; coordination of development team members; and public and private regulation interpretation and compliance (HOME, NSP, CBDG, LIHTC, AHP, NYS HTFC & AHC).

Research, coordination, and solicitation of grant proposals and responses to request for proposals. Oversight of grant compliance and reporting to public, governmental, and private partners.
