Daniel represents buyers and sellers in strategic and private equity mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distressed investments, restructuring and leveraged buyouts.Daniel also represents entrepreneurs, emerging businesses, private equity investors and venture capital funds. He provides a broad range of legal services to entrepreneurs and growing businesses in a variety of industries, often functioning in a strategic "outside general counsel"​ role. He counsels clients on strategic business matters throughout a company's life-cycle and represents and advises clients in critical business transactions, including seed, angel and venture capital financings, acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other technology partnerships and commercial arrangements. Daniel has experience counseling angel investors, venture capital funds, and corporate venture arms of large corporations in connection with early and late stage preferred stock and convertible debt financings and in connection with exit events involving portfolio companies.While attending law school, Daniel was involved in the Harvard Association for Law and Business, Harvard Human Rights Journal, and the HLS Running Club. At Rutgers University, he received both the Henry Rutgers Outstanding Scholar Award and the Leroy Davidson Memorial Scholarship.Daniel is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
