I am currently a CFI/CFII at Bode Academy of Aviation. In addition to being an instructor, I am also a check instructor. I conduct stage checks for private, instrument, and commercial students. I have about 1,000 hours of dual instruction given. I have really enjoyed being an instructor, and helping students to become safe, skilled, and confident pilots.I currently have 1400 hours including over 1300 PIC, 240 XC (>50NM), 79 Simulated instrument, and 55 nigh hours. My ratings include: CFI/CFII, Commercial SEL & MEL, Complex, High Performance, and Instrument. I have a 2nd class FAA medical. Prior to starting my career as a pilot, I owned and operated a successful residential & commercial roofing company from 2014-2021. I founded Seamless Roofing Solutions, LLC in 2014. We started with small residential roof replacements and repairs and grew to securing a variety of larger commercial contracts including restaurant chains, office buildings, and business/shopping centers. Although I very much enjoyed owning, operating, and growing a successful and profitable company, I have found that my true passion is in aviation and being a pilot. I decided to give up the roofing business in order to pursue my passion full time and start my career as a professional pilot. Through my experience as a flight instructor, and as a business owner, I have acquired skills and experience that will help as I continue to advance my career as a commercial pilot. I have an incredibly strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. I also excel in a team environment and have very strong people/communication as well as sales skills. I know what it takes to overcome any obstacle and get a job done.
