Daniel J. Bendig, IHS Consulting Director (semi retired) is an expert in international exploration and project management. Mr. Bendig has worked extensively in data room visits, asset appraisals, OOIP and reserve analysis, field development, G+G interpretations, bid round evaluations, risk and unconventionals portfolio evaluations. Prior to joining IHS, Mr. Bendig held the posts of vice president of exploration, chief geophysicist of a major oil company in the North Sea, and senior geophysicist with a number of companies, including Conoco, Inc. Total experience exceeds 40 years. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists, the Houston Geological Society, and the Houston Geophysical Society.
