As a University Student-Athlete this was a great opportunity playing soccer in the Premier Development League for a brand new organization that is growing extensively throughout the South-East region. At a young age this provided the experience to be hands on in a fast paced Buying office that sourced product from all over the world for a retailer with 600 stores based in the United Kingdom stores. My job responsibilities included: - I was granted direct meetings with the CEO about the adaptation and development of the Company Corporate Brochure which subsequently went out to corporate partners all over the world. My main job responsibility was to pull together correct information from all departmental heads. I had weekly meetings with graphic designers and marketing department about the layout and structure of the Corporate Brochure. This task let me gain valuable experience in meeting with senior executives and gain a better understanding of how the companies business model is executed. - Direct assistant to Senior Buyers and Buying Director making sure that any job required was done efficiently.- Stock file updated accordingly on a daily basis.- Direct contact with stores all over the country making sure that their stock was up to date.- Direct contact with import/freight companies about delivery of stock to The Works main warehouse.
