Tasks include collecting, organising and providing content for the development of such a Toolkit. The Toolkit was presented at the World Investment Forum in November 2021.

I have been working a research assistant to Professor Ha Wei, Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Education, Peking University, and academic lead on the Asian Development Bank and Peking University Knowledge Partnership, which seeks to share experiences of Chinese Education Development and bolster University-Industry linkages across Asia. In my role, I have been drafting research briefs to support the work of the partnership, and led a delegation of Bangladeshi textile industry experts across China to investigate success in Chinese textile sector human capital development.

I was fortunate to be a part of the firm's inaugural eight week summer programme in their Economic and Financial Consulting division. I undertook the following tasks: Modelling economic cost-benefit analysis using Leontief Inverse matrix models informed by Input-Output Analysis Tables and subsequently writing a report detailing the process for future internal use; using government reports and academic papers to inform modelling methodology and assumptions and other research tasks.

Corbett Keeling is an "elite boutique" corporate finance firm, whose clients are typically owner managed, family owned or private equity backed businesses with enterprise values of £5m to £150m, or private and public companies looking to acquire businesses in this lower to mid-market region. Tasks that I completed included: Preparing Information Memoranda on Corbett Keeling's small mid-market clients; preparing briefing materials for and attending meetings with Private Equity firms to discuss their respective portfolios and firms that Corbett Keeling are advising; analysing and modelling bids; researching target firms and clients; preparing reports about the economic circumstances of certain industries and nations to contribute toward wider contextual information for Information Memoranda and preparing a variety of marketing publications including newsletters, case studies and data sets. My experiences at Corbett Keeling exposed me to the full process in which a company acquires another and I was fortunate to be able to work across a variety of projects at different stages within this process. I learnt how to prepare briefing materials for meetings, how to obtain the most useful information from these meetings and the confidence to partake in them. I learnt how to use and interpret budget sheets, measures of a company's success, Microsoft Excel for modelling, Microsoft Access and online company databases.

TEn is an insurance broker network first launched at the start of 2005 - at the dawn of the new era of regulation - with its sights set firmly on assisting small independent brokers meet the challenges of changing times ahead.My role comprised analysing data to present to the board of directors about the compliance of staff to the technical processes involved with processing insurance policies, creating screens to capture data on the internal software and organisation of the intranet system to improve client experience.I learnt to be diligent, analytic and find creative solutions to problems from my experience at this firm. I also learnt that correlation does not always imply causation and the importance of considering tertiary factors to explain a trend within data. I gained confidence in presentation skills and learnt the importance of clear communication.
