I am responsible for the design, architecture, and deployments of storage environments for Lumen Network Storage (LNS). Also, I’m responsible for the LNS Azure hosting environment, internal documentation, storage network design, and cross-team coordination.Deployed both S3 object storage and block storage around the world in various Lumen Edge locations. Administration and customer provisioning are accomplished via a Lumen-built operations and customer portal. The portal project uses GIT, Java, Python, Bash, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Tomcat, NetApp StorageGrid APIs, OnTap APIs, and Active IQ Unified Manager. The portal is hosted in Azure.

Senior Cloud EngineerI worked on various teams to deliver Cloud services to external and internal customers. These teams were responsible for the entire cloud software environment. We built and managed the public cloud including vCenters, storage, networks, switches, IP addresses, firewalls, OSes, etc. Customers can provision, modify, view, and delete resources including servers, networks, VPNs, firewalls, users, storage, IPs, sub-accounts, backups, install software, etc. using a cloud UI or API.I also architected and assisted creation of a client cloud backup product for CenturyLink Cloud. Backups are stored on AWS S3 and CenturyLink S3. The software was written in Java using OpenJDK.

I worked as a Storage Engineer with the combined storage team.I was responsible for engineering and architecture for backups in the Qwest, Centurylink, and Savvis hosting centers.Some of my responsibilities included product management, architecture, deployment, finance, leasing, and vendor relations.
