Hematology disease area lead

• Responsible for lifecycle management initiatives for the rheumatology franchise, including serving as the commercial representative on Phase IV project teams. Partner closely with BD&L groups on commercial assessments and in-licensing opportunities. • Lead for ad-hoc, cross-indication projects designed to evaluate and improve our promotional mix. Recently led a project evaluating our speaker programs which identified many ways to optimize our investment.

• Marketing lead for dermatomyositis and polymyositis, orphan diseases generating over $100MM in sales. Generated continued year over year growth despite a challenging payer environment, lack of new data, and changing salesforce priorities. Worked closely with KOLs and internal partners to identify key endpoints for inclusion in planned clinical development and HEOR projects.

• Launched Daliresp, a novel COPD agent. Managed development of the brand plan, pricing strategy, positioning, and promotional materials. Supervised market research, reviewed publications, monitored competitive intelligence, and coordinated with partner company. • Spearheaded highly visible analytical projects including managing sales forecasts, assessing impact of labeling scenarios, and conducting valuations of potential Phase IV programs. Acted as “team owner” of all clinical study reports, reviewing slides for advisory committee and type-B meetings with FDA. Completed clinical reviews to assess likelihood of success on endpoints. Marketing liaison to regulatory during label negotiations.• Led the launch of Lexapro for adolescent depression. Responsible for developing the strategy, building the forecast, conducting market research, managing publications, liaising with advocacy and scientific communities. Worked with KOL community to evaluate clinical data, and define optimal go to market strategies for new markets and channels.

•Responsible for managing the Forest market research for Benicar/HCT, exploring alternate indications and other lifecycle decisions. Compiled competitive intelligence via financial reports, investor presentations, and promotional materials. Conducted TPP research for a novel stroke agent to inform go/no-go decisions.

•Conducted ATU tracking research for blockbuster drugs, and positioning/TPP research for novel HIV agents. •Designed sales forces for major pharmaceutical companies, managing alignment and personnel selection processes.
