This teamwork has been pivotal in creating innovative and effective solutions.My team and I embrace agile methodologies, which enable us to remain flexible and responsive to changing project requirements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.Throughout my time at OK, I have been an instrumental part of the software solutions department in developing numerous web applications, including geimur.is, borgo.is, ehi.is, iav.is as well as maintaining complex applications such as amnesty.is, enurmenntun.is and the Hybrid Analyzer, a robust antivirus tool designed to meticulously scan files for malware. I participated in many more super interesting projects but lets keep it short and sweet.----------------------Additional Achievements during my time at OK----------------------I am the creator of Basil.css, an open-source and lightweight CSS framework that has become a staple in thousands of projects worldwide.In 2023, I triumphed in the Varist - Rafborg 2033 Hacking CTF, successfully infiltrating ten competitors' virtual machines and gaining root access to one, showcasing my quite adequate cybersecurity skills.I try my best to prioritize clean code practices and follow design patterns, ensuring that the code I write is readable, maintainable, and scalable and as a full-stack developer, I have a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development.

During my time as an IT Project Manager at the University of Iceland (Northern Lights Confucius Institute) from 2020 to 2022, I spearheaded the creation of digital tools aimed at enhancing language learning environments. One notable project was an application designed to improve Mandarin Chinese reading comprehension, significantly aiding students in their language studies.I was responsible for the complete lifecycle of web application development, from initial design to final deployment. This involved close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that each application met user needs and delivered an exceptional user experience.In addition to new developments, I played a small role in maintaining and enhancing the university's website (hi.is).To ensure the highest quality of our digital products, I implemented unit and integration tests and adhered to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles. These practices were crucial in maintaining robust and reliable software solutions.----------------------Additional Achievements during my time at the University of Iceland----------------------I produced a podcast about Chinese business and history where me and my team interviewed key figures from the Icelandic / Chinese business and cultural scene. We researched history and latest news and produced over 80 episodes of peer reviewed material about China in Icelandic.Additionally we managed to establish a co-operative partnership between the University of Iceland, Ningbo University in China and the Icelandic table tennis federation. Through that partnership we created the Northern Lights Table Tennis Camp where table tennis players in Iceland can train under the guidance of international coaches as well as go to China for training and language learning opportunities. I'm particularly proud of this achievement as I am an active table tennis player myself and a former national champion.

As a Software Developer Intern at Reon Tech from May 2021 to September 2021, I contributed to several projects, honing my skills in both front-end and back-end development. One of my key achievements was developing readable and scalable code for a dashboard web application, ensuring it met high standards for performance and maintainability.I played a significant role in debugging and implementing design changes for the Team Health app, improving its functionality and user experience.Collaborating with my team, I was involved in designing the user interface for a new web-based application. This project encompassed the entire development process, from initial concept to final deployment, highlighting my ability to work effectively within a team and deliver high-quality software solutions.
