As Director of Engineering, I lead a talented team in delivering innovative solutions that align with our company’s strategic objectives. I manage the full product development lifecycle, ensuring each project meets the highest standards from concept through to market launch. A key focus of my role is managing the scaling of our robotic kiosk, ensuring it can meet growing demand while maintaining quality and performance. I also optimize internal processes for greater efficiency and scalability, while building and nurturing a high-performing engineering team. My current goal as the Lead Engineer at Zenblen is to complete the engineering development of the kiosk and help bring it to market. Some of my current tasks include: - Developing engineering project goals and timelines- Managing the development and build of the kiosk- Performing design and process risk assessments- Designing and executing test plans for the prototype and pilot kiosks- Connecting with vendors and managing the RFP process- Developing (DFM, DFA) the pilot version of the Zenblen kiosk- Outlining and establishing Zenblen’s PLM process- Managing the engineering teamAbout Zenblen:Zenblen is developing a tech-enabled smoothie bar that blends healthy, nutritionist-curated smoothies right in front of the consumer. We partner with high-frequented locations, such as gyms and office buildings, in our mission to make healthy eating more convenient in everyone's daily routines.

- Develop reliability testing and performance testing of semiconductor and general-motion robot products.- Support the development of semiconductor robot products from the prototype to mass production stage.- Develop image processing applications that characterize robot performance.- Support the design, controls, and manufacturing teams.- PLC programming (IEC61131)

My main responsibilities include launching products at one of Yaskawa's manufacturing facilities, overseeing field and in-process quality, and improving the manufacturing facility. I'm currently focusing on the launching new products and organizing schedules to ensure a smooth setup. A product launch requires management of the project from an operation standpoint. I mainly work with products made for the semiconductor and motion industry; however, I also deal with inverters and filters. In addition to launching new products, I also work to improve efficiency and safety of existing assembly lines. I launched a "rapid prototyping workstation" equipped with a large-scale 3D printer to allow us to design and build custom jigs and tools that are intended to improve our processes.My quality work includes maintaining and logging any quality issues, creating and following up with C/PAR's, and completing customer first article inspections.

I was responsible for leading and organizing the Formula Electric Team. My captain role required creating presentations, speaking in front of large audiences, and maintaining a $100K+ budget to build an electric car. To create an innovative car, I worked with the team to research motor drive and power-electronics technology, use advanced mechanical/aero simulations, and design and manufacturing the car's battery system.Battery System Leader- Battery system design involved using high density cells and designing methods to properly cool the cells. Responsible for overseeing the team involved in battery system design and testing. Directly involved in design of batteries optimized for a lightweight Formula racer.Brakes Leader- Responsible for the design and manufacturing of the Formula racecar brakes system. Main focus on redesigning past brakes system to decrease weight and improve braking efficiency. Worked on developing a regenerative braking system with the power-electronics team.

I mainly supervised and maintained several engineering workstations and IT projects. I also worked and aided management to improve Engineering computer labs. I authored lab procedures and user guides. I provided assistance to engineering students and professors/faculty concerning hardware and software related issues.
