Teaching embedded Academic English classes for specific courses at Foundation & Degree level. Teaching one-to-one language tutorials and Academic English Skills classes. Liaison between UAL Language Development and Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon Colleges of Art.

Teaching prospective art, design and fashion students as part of UAL's presessional programme, and providing insessional language support for current Foundation, BA and MA students. Marking and grading written work and spoken presentations as part of students’ summative assessment. Giving one-to-one tutorials. Developing materials. Organising student outings to relevant exhibitions and events.

Teaching individual students and small groups in a variety of contexts including Business English, Academic English (including teaching writing via email), Sales Presentations, Exam Preparation , Pronunciation for singing in English.

Designing and teaching three intensive (20-22hr) courses at Advanced level, focussing on grammar in use, writing and vocabulary respectively, the last of which is a new course that I have developed. Conducting initial assessments of students for courses from ESOL entry 1 to CAE. Liaising with department staff re progression of students onto further courses at City Lit. Prepared and taught a one-week summer school "Improve Your English Language Skills" which ran in mid-July 2012. Have also recently taught Cambridge ESOL Entry level 1, Cambridge FCE, and essay writing classes.

Designed and taught a one-to-one course to a young footballer at a Premiership football club. Included language specific to football, general English and preparation for Cambridge Key English Test and Cambridge Preliminary English Test.

Planned and taught lessons/courses at all levels from Beginner to Proficiency, including preparing students for Cambridge suite exams (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE), Cambridge IELTS, Trinity GESE, and also Business English. Prepared and marked mock examinations. Presented staff development meetings. Observed, supported and advised less experienced teachers. Liaised with other staff, assessing and advising students re level. Taught one-to-one lessons at various levels, including exam preparation.
