Lead software designer on Archive-It web archiving-on-demand service. Beginning with launch of the pilot in 2005, I have designed, developed and deployed multiple revisions of the product. It is a multi-component service involving a Solr-driven public interface, a partner account management interface, a internal admin console and crawl cluster management subsystem. I also authored the open source Heritrix Cluster Controller (hcc) project which is available on SourceForge. We began with a handful of institutional accounts. My primary focus was on designing and developing a web-deployed Swing client which enabled real estate agents and brokers to analyze MLS data in innovative ways.

As a founding member of a collaborative engineering team I participated in gathering requirements for, designing and developing the company's merchandising system. I also spent time focused on the challenges of integrating our systems with the legacy systems that drove Kmart's infrastructure.
