- I'm a journalist since 2004. I started as a translator and writer at the foreign news desk of Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel's leading daily newspaper. Being fluent in several languages and always interested in international news, fulfilling my dream job. In 2006-2007 I became the foreign news editor, head of the foreign desk, the job I'm holding to this day.- as a foreign news editor I am responsible for the coverage of all international news, stories and affairs for all of the newspaper. I manage a team of 10-15 reporters based abroad and 3-4 staff members at the office. - during the past 18 years, my team and me successfully managed to cover in a professional way all major events in the world. I sent reporters on assignment to various places, including warzones and other, at times, dangerous locations. the goal: to bring the best stories and the best coverage of events to the readers, from the "field". - as a senior editor I decide which international affairs and stories to cover and how to present them in order to influence and to reach our readers in the best way.- I'm very good in handling complex situations, adjusting and reacting fast.- I'm handling my team in a very professional, human and friendly way.- I very much love to connect with other people, love to learn from other people's views. - I see myself first of all as a team-plater, as a very a self-motivated manager with great interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities. - as a manager I often solve personal problems of team members, on all levels, at work and also private. - I speak and write fluently in 7 languages, having spent half of my life in Switzerland, the place I was born and raised.
