Dan Beverly, MAI, serves as Senior Vice President of the Valuation and Advisory Services business in Southern California, and is a trusted member of CBRE’s National Hotel Valuations Team. In this role, he is active in performing hotel and lodging valuation engagements throughout the Southern California market, as well as Hawaii. Mr. Beverly has a broad range of experience in the valuation, feasibility, and consulting analysis of a variety of hospitality assets, including resorts, full service hotels, select service hotels, limited service hotels, convention hotels, bed & breakfast properties, extended stay hotels, luxury boutique, independent and nationally franchised properties, proposed developments, ground leased hotel properties, motels, and a variety of complex hospitality assets, among others. He has been actively engaged in commercial real estate valuation and consulting services since 2007, and has appraised and consulted on over 350 lodging assignments, ranging from small limited service hotels to large $100 million+ institutional assets.Prior to joining CBRE, he held various appraisal positions with other national and international commercial real estate firms in both management and production roles. In addition, Mr. Beverly has appraised all other major property types of commercial real estate including multifamily, student housing, retail, professional and medical office, industrial, land, production studio, and various special use property types. Assignments have ranged anywhere from small owner-occupied buildings up to $1 billion+ investment grade properties and property portfolios.Dan has obtained the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, and holds a State Certified General Appraiser license in California and Hawaii.Clients include a variety of local, national, and international clients, including local and national banks, financial institutions, lawyers, government entities, and REITs, among others. Dan graduated from The University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in General Business Administration and a minor in Real Estate. Professional associations include an active membership with the Appraisal Institute, as well as contribution to various other organizations.
