Hi, I'm a computer science student finishing up my third year at ISU!Since high school, I've worked on a wide variety of programming projects, touching on concepts in Game Development, Web Development, and Machine Learning.Throughout high school, I took multiple computer science classes, and after graduating, took a variety of online classes that caught my interest. These classes covered concepts in Linear Algebra, Web Development, Machine Learning, and even introductory Quantum Computing.During my first year at ISU, I participated in a one-week game jam, worked on a puzzle game and a top-down shooter at our school's Game Development Club, attended technology related events, went to Cybersecurity Club meetings, and took a variety of relevant courses (Calculus I and II, Intro to Data Structures, and Computer Organization). Starting off my sophomore year, I took these courses relating to mathematics, computer science, and physics: Calculus III, C++ Programming, Systems Development I and Physics for Science and Engineering I.To end my sophomore year, I took some particularly interesting classes. In Introduction to Undergraduate Research in Mathematics for instance, Joseph Wittrock and I created and trained a reinforcement learning agent! It was a fun project where we taught a virtually simulated spider to walk towards a target location, as well as to rotate and face the target, without falling over!Additionally, I became the new level design lead at Game Development Club. I had a blast working with everyone on the semester's tower defense project: Fear of Flora.This year, I've continued as the level design lead for Game Development club, and have joined the executive board of our school's ACM club. Some classes I'm particularly excited about this semester are Intro to the Theory of Computation and Database Processing. So far, I've had a great experience learning about the things that interest me and meeting new people at ISU.
