Dan Biber was a Data Analyst working for Perrigo's New Product Development group. Perrigo is a leading over-the-counter generic pharmaceutical company so its new product pipeline is always full of fun projects and challenges. He worked to connect data sources and provide scientists access to their data according to good data principles (automated dashboards and data governance).He also recently graduated from GVSU with a Professional Science Masters in Health and BioInformatics where he interned at the start-up Data2Discovery. There he worked on a variety of projects, including; new dataset integration, graph visualization and adverse drug reactions. During that time, he involved himself with the Parkinsons Research Integrative Data Experimentation (PRIDE) in which he still contributes in his free time.Prior to his time in the data science field, Dan was a successful R&D analytical chemist in the Pharmaceutical field working with both tablet and transdermal dosage forms. He lives in Grand Rapids MI with his wife and three kids.
