I currently teach a wide range of students at Bedford College how to create and assemble electronic circuits and fault finding techniques and methods. My specialist area is micro-controllers, I now at Bedford College deliver this across all learner levels.• Deliver PEO NVQ Level 2 electronic circuit assembly and fault finding within electronic systems.• Deliver BTEC Level 2 electronic circuit design and assembly. (Micro-controllers is introduced at this level)• Deliver BTEC Level 3 Principles and applications, Circuit design, Test and measurement, Electronic fault finding, Microprocessor systems and Principles and applications of micro-controllers. • Deliver BTEC HNC/HND Principles and applications of micro-controllers. This is an amazing experience teaching here, to see my enthusiasm in electronic engineering transfer to the students, and to watch them grow in confidence and ability. Coming from a long working industry background, my experience covers a wide range of disciplines.

My role was to teach and deliver NVQ L1 - 2 and L3 VRQ programmes in micro controllers and analogue electronics. Advanced micro programming using assembler and cross compiler languages.Teaching students how to assemble and test electronic circuits. Another part of my role was to support the company's IT infrastructure.

Working for an innovative ANPR company my role was to design electronic interfaces to react to specific events. Using a range of technology and micro-controllers I have created unique bespoke hardware applications. A key part of my role was to configure remote sites to obtain the best possible number plate capture ratio and to ensure data was accurate.

Working for a market leader in security based products my role was to provide the following:• Provide support to R&D and work alongside them creating the next generation of products• Design bespoke engineering tools to assist field service teams• Implement specific database integration between third party systems• Support field engineers and provide diagnostic training programmes to improve KPI• Take ownership of key customer sites and ensure smooth service delivery• Commission new sites
