Find out more about our exciting and varied opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide HSSEQ support for the site to help maintain and develop a safety first and right first-time quality culture.Assist and check that the site accurately records all reported hazards, near misses and incidents and that they are investigated in accordance with company procedures.Check and assist the site has / maintains an adequate level of emergency preparedness by ensuring the site has up to date and regularly tested internal and external emergency plans so that it has ‘available on demand’ emergency capabilities & equipment to ensure the site meets its obligations under the COMAH Regulations.Assist and check that the site maintains adequate safe systems of work.Ensure that the site completes HSSEQ related tasks and returns information in a timely and accurate manner to enable the publication of applicable reports.To check all activities are carried out in accordance with applicable standardsAssist site leader in the preparation for, external regulator or insurance inspector visits, especially Competent Authorities (HSE, EA, local authority etc). Assist and check that the site has adequately assessed and is controlling the occupational health risks to its staff.Assist the site with training and communication of HSSEQ of its staff, in particular induction, toolbox talks and other HSSEQ communications.Complete regular audits of the management systems.Take an active role in coordinating the Site Safety Meetings across departments and in the development of workforce engagement through coaching safety representatives.Assist the site in the prioritisation and close out of HSSEQ actions.Facilitate best practice sharing across locations
