Automation: Building automation scripts from a fresh framework and implementing them into the Regression pack seamlessly, whilst also independently running automated regression packs. Supports: Supporting the automation process with improvements to scripts and suggesting areas to improve, whilst also helping to implement and drive ideas forwards. Support the Agile testing process, attending daily stand-ups and ownership of individual user stories. Improvements: Supporting QA Team Lead and Principal QA Engineer with implementing the QA Automation Strategy. Designing: Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases. Manual: Has confidence to run and add new scripts to the Manual regression packs independently. Reporting: Clear reporting of the testing status through test execution. Maintenance: Maintenance of testing script checklist to ensure this is consistent with new or changed functionality as part of a software release to support the testing activity. Test Data: Identifies/creates data for different testing phases. Mentor: Mentors or trains juniors and mid-level QA Engineers. Providing Help: Assists Principal QA Engineers with the development of new frameworks. Defect Tracking: Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA or similar tools/means. Promote: Champions a forward-thinking ethos within the company and team by fostering awareness and engagement in cutting-edge technologies. Show less
