I started my career with a degree in Political Science from Vienna University, became a video and film editor for News-TV, Event-Video and documentary film with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. My work has premiered at the Viennale, Austria's largest film festival and has aired on Austria's national TV network, the ORF. After a two-year excursion to Los Angeles, with a little bit of work for Netflix, I came back to Vienna in 2014 with a strong urge to create something new. I saw new technologies driven by disruptive new companies surfacing at that time at a rapid pace, opening opportunities to broadcast live on a small footprint, without the gigantic infrastructure of the broadcasting corporations we knew. I strongly believed real-time video production could help those who had something to say to the world. Connecting back in Vienna with Johannes Öhe, a trusted colleague from earlier days, we started ZEITECHT as a startup lab to experiment, try out these ideas and develop them into solutions. Some of those ideas were exciting tech challenges, such as fitting the capabilities of a whole OB van into a small electric car for live broadcasting on the go, but found too few use cases. Time was spent on developing tools that the market did not provide yet, always pushing the boundaries to do things better and more efficiently. Lot's of learnings.Soon it became clear, that the most powerful use of all the available tech, was to overcome the boundaries between physical events and online audiences worldwide. Finding ways for people to not only watch an event online, but to be fully engaged and participate interactively. And for this to be economically feasible for as many as possible, it had to be efficiently produced by a small team. Since 2016 we are providing solutions to our clients that today, 8 years and one pandemic later would be called Hybrid Events. The pandemic all of a sudden made many more see the value of Hybrid Events, and provided a big boost to the development of various new and improved tools to make them happen.Today we are proud to provide a mature all-inclusive solution package for Hybrid Events to our clients: Our mobile studio can turn any room into a Hybrid Event stage and with The Hybrid Stage we are able to offer a fully equipped venue ready to go live. Since we are able to run both with a crew of just two for most events, these solutions are affordable for many, not just the big corporations.We are still constantly working on improving our tools and incorporate new tech to do what we do a bit better every day.
