I lead 7 teams consisting of 58 people that are responsible for the day to day technical operations of Torchmark and it's subsidiary companies. These teams are responsible for monitoring and notifications, virtual desktop infrastructure, technical support, help desk, asset management, print device management and administration, vendor relations management for external service contracts in my arena.

I manage Technical Operations for Torchmark. Technical Operations is comprised of 4 teams, each with its own manager: Tech Services - Desktop Support and Desktop Engineering Operations Center - first level phone support, licensing, network security processing Mainframe Operations - Batch cycle monitoring, after hours 1st level phone support Production Assurance - Advanced mainframe cycle maintenance, abend support and analysis.In addition to this role, I am responsible for the contract management of our fleet of walk up copiers across 6 sites.

Managing desktop infrastructure and support personnel across 4 sites supporting a large insurance firm.Detailed reporting of work by incident versus request, resource allocation reporting both as lead and lag measures.In June of 2009 expanded my role to accept responsibility for volume print contracts for workgroup and user area print across 5 sites.In December 2010 acquired the oversight of several large mainframe print projects supporting a larger ubiquitous print initiative. Goals: Eliminate unnecessary print Standardize mainframe print formats across sites to achieve flexibility in disaster recovery plans
