About Daniel Black

I am currently a Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives. My portfolio includes Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, Small Business, Natural Resources, Veterans Affairs, Health Care, and Finance issues. I have recently completed a Master's of Strategic Studies through the U.S. Army War College. I have also completed the U.S. Army War College's Defense Strategy Course.I am a graduate from the University of Aberdeen in North Eastern Scotland, where I did my undergraduate degree in Economics. While there I was the Vice President of the University of Aberdeen Malt Whisky Society (AUMWS); during my tenure as Vice President, I was awarded the David Davidson award of dedication. This award is given annually to the student who shows the most commitment to their society, and to AUSA (Aberdeen University Student Association) as a whole.
