The second book, Too Young to Die, includes a foreword by General John de Chastelain, former Chief of Defence Staff and former Canadian Ambassador to the United States. Lorimer Publishing of Toronto is the publisher. In the April-May 2014 issue of Canada's History Magazine (pp. 52-53) respected Canadian military historian and author Tim Cook stated that co-authors "Dan Black...and John Boileau tell the compelling story of Canada's war effort through these underage witnesses."
