Responsible for the leadership and operational performance of the furniture department, including sales, customer service, merchandising, assembly, safety, and presentation standards.Provide work direction, coaching related to the sales process, merchandising, new information, finance options, and assembly.Provide feedback to store leadership. Assist customers with information, selection, and purchase.Manage customer deposits and orders. Maintain inventory, cycle counts, in an effort to maximize sales and inventory turn.Identify display needs, assembly, maintenance of displays, use of tools, and communicate to manufacturer as needed.Serve as the Manager on Duty role as needed. Provide leadership and direction to floor associates and ensures that store, merchandising, and customer service standards are continuously met, including merchandise presentation, signage, recovery, and cleanliness. Drive the customer experience and ensure resolution of customer issues.
