CurrentBactobio is a biotech company that aims to solve some of the biggest issues facing humanity. We solve these problems through our proprietary platform that uses synthetic biology, next-generation sequencing, and machine learning to access novel compounds from biological dark matter. EXIST selects projects that can develop technologies that have potential to be disruptive. The 12-month grant funded the work of 3 postdocs and allowed us to methodically build our technology to a stage where we could incorporate and get seed funding.
