Dan Blonigen, SAMA joined the firm as a Senior Analyst in 2022. A graduate of St. Cloud State University’s Real Estate program, Dan spent over 16 years as a commercial property appraiser- first at Hennepin County, and the past twelve years at the City of Bloomington Assessing Office. Dan’s work at Bloomington encompassed a vast array of highly sophisticated property types: every class of office, industrial, retail, congregate senior living and multi-family, as well as Minnesota’s most valuable trophy asset, the Mall of America.Dan participates in many organizations, including SCSU’s Real Estate Alumni Association (former president/board member), and as former chair of the CIA Valuation Committee for MAAO. He’s lent his expertise as instructor to numerous appraisal seminars at MAAO and is well known and respected throughout the assessing and legal community in Minnesota for his hard work and detailed analysis. Dan resides in Burnsville with his wife and their two children.
