Design an architecture that uses multiple IPC, shared memory, and Unity native plugins as a clean yet flexible solution to realize a multi-process app model integrated with cloud web services that serves several augmented reality remote collaboration and communication scenarios.·Identify security risks and hidden dependencies in designs. Worked in the Operating Systems Group; Designed and implemented Wi-Fi state machine for connecting to Wi-Fi networks in Windows. Designed the new OOBE (Out-Of-Box Experience) for Windows to make it more intuitive to use, simple to control and stay connected.

·Developed a head-mounted eye-tracker with an instant messenger to examine the perception and awareness of people during a conversation. Also the perception preferences from different culture could be applied in designing culture-sensitive collaboration tools.·Worked with Professor Jeremy Birnholtz at Collaboration Technology Lab, in which a lab study has been designed to look into how awareness information (i.e.: knowing certain aspects of what other people are doing) would affect distant collaboration in terms of task performance and social-emotional relationships built between collaborators.

Worked in Windows Embedded Team; Developed a media player with native high performance tech stack, emerging mobile UI frameworks and animation engines for mobile platforms.
