As a Public Health Officer (PHO), l ensure that all people of all ages have a healthy life which is a basic fundamental human right. I am committed to ending epidemics of HIV, TB, malaria, NTDs, and other communicable diseases, non-communicable, and reducing mental health. I have 9 years of work experience in carrying out mass vaccination in times of epidemics, mass treatment of endemic diseases, performing follow-up investigations of bacterial, viral, or parasitic infections, and participating in the collection and analysis of appropriate epidemiological information on both communicable and non-communicable diseases. I have an interest in conducting research to contribute to knowledge and have been involved in conducting research projects in Ghana. I have also been instrumental in assisting public health students and nurses from some universities in Ghana to undertake their Workplace Experiential Learning to help them gain core competencies and skills for professional development in public health disciplines. I am passionate about responding to the needs of children living in poverty in my community by working as a leader in my church who is a Frontline Church Partner (FCP) with Compassion International Ghana (CIGH) to provide opportunities for children and youth to develop their God given potentials.
