Creates influential proposals to advocate for personnel, resources, and policy changes. Manages the full cycle of IT purchases, agreements, and contracts from initiation to completion.-Lead the local organization’s Information Technology Working Group (ITWG) for the primary staff and four subordinate organizations to determine emerging operational requirements and potential new IT solutions and enhancements.-Coordinated/integrated the cyber, transmissions, and maintenance sections into a cohesive element to provide mutually supporting efforts for over 20 exercises with voice/data communications in remote/austere conditions. Primary functions included project management, planning delivery road maps, creating standardized procedures for system administrators and end-users, and continuous process improvements.-Designed, coordinated, and supervised the establishment and extension of 3 classified networks in a garrison and expeditionary campus area network infrastructure. Designed the network transmissions, routing, switching, domain VPN reach-back, and local VoIP services for multiple large bilateral exercises with other nations. Supervised the management of an IT helpdesk for over 500 users. Developed and maintained a cyber security program which identified Information Assurance (IA) architecture, policies, and management of the IA workforce training.-Designed the network transmissions, Cisco routing, switching, Windows Server 2012 R2 domain VPN reach back, and local VoIP services for 7 large exercises, including two bilateral exercises with other nations; submitted the IA accreditation packages and tracked/facilitated to completion, including all server & network diagrams were updated in Visio.-Directed and supervised the implementation of task management tracking processes, creation of new standard operating procedures for server and network deployment, administration, and change management procedures.-Revamped equipment accounting/maintenance procedures, helpdesk account management, cyber security management procedures for administrators, and coordinated IA workforce training to affirm compliance with organizational directives.-Designed, submitted the IA accreditation package including physical security requirements, procured the equipment, and coordinated the installation of 3 classified networks in two buildings for the headquarters.
