CurrentI manage access control devices, like access control panels, standalone card readers, access keypads and fingerprint readers, auxiliary readers, different types of RFID cards and time attendance devices. My main tasks are testing and evaluating newly arrived products and writing datasheets and user manuals for them in Adobe InDesign. I also test and evaluate devices, that get sent by cutomers repair, and then send these devices onward to our electrician, or back to the customer as necessary.My other main task is customer service both through e-mails and phone, and sometimes even in person. This includes receiving complaints about faulty devices, helping the customers if they don't understand something, or can't find something on our page, helping them to choose what they need fo their specific cases and if necessary, giving them online support with remote access. Rarerly, but sometimes I also go out to customers in person, to set up their system, or teaching them how they can use these systems, or both.On rare occasions, I get delegated to our showroom for a week, helping my collegue who does retail task, and also selling our products to customers myself.
