Hello everyone! I'm Daniel Boll (aka NamelessBlossom).Developing software since 2015 with C++, TypeScript, Rust and NoSQL databases. I graduated in Computer Science in 2024 from the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE - Brazil). After joining the university, I enrolled and maintained a functional programming study group for three years, which basically proposes project challenges with complex algorithms and projects to learn better functional programming concepts.In my first years, I got accepted in my voluntary scientific initiation under the topic of Predictive Species Distribution Model, which uses environmental data to predict where species are likely to occur. It helps with conservation and understanding ecological impacts. This model was built using C++ for efficient computation and my job was to enhance the algorithm performance through parallelization. My undergraduate thesis focused on compilers, specifically assisting in teaching as part of the compiler construction pipeline. The project provided a unified tool that takes an extended TAC-based intermediate representation and outputs MIPS assembly, which is then interpreted by a VM. The compilers were developed in Rust, and the VM was implemented in the provided front-end.Currently, I am responsible for developing and managing the entire suite of tools for an e-commerce platform, including ERP integrations, front-end, and back-end development. My role involves ensuring seamless system integration, enhancing scalability and performance, and delivering robust solutions that improve the overall user experience and operational efficiency.In my spare time, I like to invest my time in my personal relationships or find a new project in the open source environment to contribute to.
