Worked at Patlong High School, a mid-sized rural school nestled in the highlands of Qacha’s Nek District. There were 630 students enrolled in the school. Taught math and life skills to classes ranging from 60 to 80 students. Life skills is a sexual health-based curriculum focusing on addressing the HIV epidemic. Implemented several secondary projects including:• TAP committee: Reviewed federal grants for a scholarship program for economically disadvantages students.• Library Project: Managed the construction and furnishing of a school library, including two grants one for the building and one for books.• Tuition Assistance Program: Over the course of a year and a half implemented a scholarship and mentorship program for 10 students.• World Map: Planned and executed a 100 square foot mural.• Soccer Coach: Served as the school soccer coach with a local counterpart overseeing a team that won the conference before placing third in the area.• School Database: Built and implemented a database for retaining students’ academic and disciplinary records.• Resource Volunteer: Reviewed the teaching practices of trainees, and co-facilitated sessions on grants during the project design and management workshop.

Worked with a team for modeling from the ground up the lab operation in the maintenance data base. The scope required validating and automating 10,000 individual data points in the field which made the data base model more accurate. Worked independently on a cost matrix database making improvements on functionality. The data base contained data on over 200 projects in progress and in the pipeline. The project enabled informed decision making by making forecasting of project costs more accurate.

Ran an audit of a factories mechanical, water, gas and liquid chemical supply and waste systems. By automating 13,000 data points the project reduced in person analysis from hours to minutes for each tool installation.
