COMPANY PROFILEMXL is an ASX listed company specialising in delivering administration software to the education sector.In 2008 MXL acquired patented IP and software from ARC Research & Development Pty Ltd (see below) in exchange for cash and equity.ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Developed and successfully presented a business case for building a new three million dollar student learning system.• Obtained 100% of the funding required to develop the new product through license pre-purchases.• Selected and negotiated the services of an offshore development partner for an 18 month project.• Led a team of up to 60 technical consultants and developers located in India and Australia.• Directed the design, construction, testing, documentation and governance during the build phase.ROLE• Initially engaged to provide a period of transitional consulting support to allow MXL to successfully integrate new technology purchased from ARC Research and Development P/L (see below).• Joined the MXL executive team having proven the business case for developing a new product.• Worked with MXL business analysts to document the requirements of the new system; led the development teams.
