Position assess training needs of Extension agents, specialists and support staff and lead the development design and implementation of a comprehensive professional development program to build content knowledge and process skills. Design and oversee mentoring program for new Extension agents and also provide training and assist with onboarding for new Extension agents. Design, deliver and/or support training and development for ongoing programs and workshops. Provide group and individual coaching as needed to Extension personnel. Design and lead new professional development initiatives for new agents, mid-level career Extension Professionals, and other Extension employees and serve as a general and resource for organizational development needs. Provide assessments that assist employees with self-awareness and knowledge about their leadership skills. Evaluate training and work to improve offerings so as to further the success and development of Extension professionals. Assist with the updating of the website for Extension Organizational Development so that Extension employees can have access to helpful resources and information. Utilize online learning tools such as Blackboard Collaborate and Media site to provide on-demand training and education for Extension employees.
