Performed repairs following safety practices such as work place examinations, lock and tag, blocking against motion, etc. Replaced mechanical belt splices with permanent vulcanized splices. Repair belts and also replace and install new belt on existing and new belt lines.Utility Worker (2008-2009)Responsible for air ventilation on mining section by installing ventilation curtains and building stoppings to control air flow. Operated section equipment as needed, assist in all facets of coal production, and supply equipment for production. Conduction work place examinations for hazardous conditions and took corrective action.
