Longtime retail/sales manager + former LGBTQ newspaper editor who found their niche in Human Resources. As an Area Human Resources Manager for New Seasons Market, I provide dedicated HR support to half our company's stores (11); I'm responsible for working with the management team of their locations, Human Resources Managers, and other HR partners to ensure delivery of effective, timely and consistent support. Responsible for managing and developing Human Resources Managers. Serving others is one of the great joys of my life.I also serve on the Board of Directors at Cascade AIDS Project (CAP), the oldest and largest community-based provider of HIV services, housing, education, and advocacy in Oregon and SW Washington. CAP Board members are responsible for the health and well-being of the organization. We take an active part in reviewing, approving, and monitoring the budget and fundraising to meet it; we actively engage in fundraising, and work to actively promote CAP while encouraging and supporting its staff, as well as CAP’s many programs. I serve on the Board’s Executive Committee, and I’m chair of our Development Committee.
