Daniel Bostic Email and Phone Number
Hello, my name is Daniel Bostic and thank you for coming to my LinkedIn page!Technology has always been a big part of my life, beginning with an early interest in video games leading to toys as a kid, gadgets as a teen and eventually to the latest phones and computer upgrades as I got out of high school.Sharing my fascination of tech with people, teaching them how to use their devices in new and better ways and helping them decide what to buy and when has been a joy to me since I started really digging into consumer tech back around 2007.I enjoy working around and with people, being the support person that people look to when they are having problems. Seeing someone go from "Why won't this WORK?!" to "Oh its working now how did you do that?" and seeing the dark cloud of Tech Problems lift off their shoulders is a feeling I always look forward to and I would love to be able to find a place of business where I can do more of that.

Games AttendantMain Event Jul 2010 - Jul 2014Lewisville, Texas, United StatesWorked all areas of the Games Department which encompassed the laser tag sales desk and the Arena where the laser tag was played, the ticket redemption counter, and the arcade area.At the laser tag sales desk, I coordinated with other departments in the building to ensure scheduling efficiency, making sure to block off laser tag reservation space needed by prescheduled birthday parties while selling the remaining space to walk-in guests. The sales desk also sold game cards that were used to play the arcade games. In the laser tag arena, I would perform the laser tag safety briefing where I would teach players how to use the laser tag equipment as well as informing the players the safety rules I would be enforcing while serving as the referee of their gameAt the redemption counter, I would assist guests with redeeming points (electronically tracked tickets were applied to the game cards instead of the games dispensing physical paper tickets) for prizes. I had to manage large groups of guests who would all want items at the same time. Multitasking was key in this position. While working the arcade floor, I would patrol the area looking for malfunctioning games, help guests who had problems with the games and do basic housekeeping (sweeping, picking up trash, cleaning drink spills). I would also stock the crane games and fill the automated game card kiosks with blank game cards at the end of the shift. While working this position I would also be a backup to any of the above listed positions, filling in and assisting as needed. -
