I am the CFO and a partner at BDO in SA. In my new role I am focusing on streamlining, re-engineering and automating processes to make our business more efficient and profitable. I have over 26 years’ experience, 15 of which are in external audit assurance. I joined BDO in 2005, after 10 years in commerce as a financial manager at some of the most well-known media companies and multi-national security groups in South Africa.I gained valuable experience over this time both locally and abroad while seconded to our offices in Sydney. I pride myself on being business minded and practical while remaining technically proficient and have obtained specialised knowledge in business valuations and the medical aid industry.I am responsible for a diverse range of clients, and have experience in construction, property investment, manufacturing, media, security, financial services, not for profit organisations, automotive, music, medical aid, natural resources and mining, commodities and franchising.
