I am a Software Architect in West Monroe’s Product Experience & Engineering Lab practice who focuses on delivering scalable, cloud-optimized digital products to clients. I achieve this through a variety of roles I have held delivering new features and leading teams on Intellio Connect — a digital workflow management asset for our Energy & Utility (E&U) customers.Our digital asset’s focus in E&U enables me to dive deep into understanding utility processes as I lead product definition workshops as we help transition clients from primarily manual processes to ones that lean heavily on automation and integrations to streamline workflows and help our clients realize significant labor cost-savings with our “Integrate and Automate” framework. Armed with that deep industry and business context, I am then able to lead software engineering teams to deliver new features and experiences that maximize business ROI and KPIs. With that as a guiding principle, I have lead initiatives across many facets of a digital product: from front-end to back-end, quality assurance and security testing, to DevOps and infrastructure management. I believe that teams work best when they are provided with a clearly defined vision for what we are trying to achieve and a clear tie back to the impact their work has in the world. As a team lead, I take initiative casting vision and communicating the impact back to my project teams to motivate and inspire excellence each and every time.
