Served as CFO and Sales Manager in this privately held company assembling and supplying copper assemblies, fiber optic assemblies, enclosures and accessories. Set up and signed supplier agreements with most of the top electrical and comm data distributors in the US. Negotiated OEM agreements with over 10 publicly traded companies in the structured cable industry. Solicited and negotiated Master Purchase Agreements with the top 5 global hyper-scale data center providers. During my time at the company we grew sales by over 500%. In 2017, I developed a strategic buyer, hired a sell side M&A company, M&A law firm and a CPA. We closed the transaction in less than 120 days. The company was purchased by a Fortune 500 company. The sale was structured all cash, debt free/cash free for nine figures. I remained as an executive advisor to the buyer. After all holdbacks were released and paid the company realized 99.7% of the sales price.

SVP of Middle Market commercial banking directing 15 commercial lending offices in Orange, Riverside and San Diego County. Developed a strategic plan to institute in-store banking in supermarkets. Our team built a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of middle market customers with the lowest percentage of losses and non-performing loans in the bank. I was selected as Manager of the Year two consecutive years. Assisted in our acquisition by US Bancorp, parent of US Bank.

Allen Edwards Associates was a distributor and manufacturer's representative selling add-on peripheral equipment for mainframe and mini-computers. We sold modems, stat muxes, printers, plotters, computer terminals and networking equipment. Named Fujitsu Printer Division Distributor of the year. We also developed software programs to run on EPROMS which allowed our printers to print on multiple part forms. We sold the software to Citicorp Information Resources.

Advanced quickly through the bank’s loan analysis program. Assigned to the Beverly Hills and Century City offices calling on middle market companies in various industries and business management firms in the entertainment division. Later transferred to the bank’s Torrance office where I became the region’s de facto technology lending expert. Brought numerous technology manufacturing and software companies to the bank. I left the bank to spearhead a leveraged buyout of one of the companies in my portfolio.
