Undertaking a PhD in the field of Psychology has given me a critical eye for detail and an invaluable skill set that I now apply to varying different fields. This is something I very much enjoy doing. My professional background means I am able to quickly and effectively research varying subject matters and channel this into the work I produce. This is demonstrated in my own personal projects, including the development of website and blog content. A particular project which showcases these skills is my work as 'The Cruising Baker', a website focusing on cruising and home baking, as well as mental health and wellbeing. Founded at the end of 2017, the website is growing from strength to strength and I am currently in the process of writing feature content for companies and magazines such as World of Cruising. I am also a media volunteer and 'Changemaker' for the UK mental health charity, Time to Change. Given this, I am able to write content on various topics from cruising to baking recipes and beyond.
