I have always enjoyed helping people. Having completed a law degree and worked in the legal sector for several years I decided I need a career change and I am currently studying to become a learning disability nurse. I have really been enjoying my studies, continuing to develop the skills I had and gaining a wide variety of new ones. People with a learning disability tend to have a more challenging time accessing and utilising healthcare. I am passionate about trying to use all of these skills and the ones I am yet to develop to try and make this no longer the case.
