Managed the production of all in-house made products, i.e. printed signs, wrap materials, fabricated products, cnc and laser cut items. All product quality and timeliness was the responsibility of the production department. The focus was to deliver quality sign products built on time and on budget to the next stage(customer delivery or installation stage).Production Manager day to day task were to:Track all projects in the production work queue.Manager inventory of materials and consumablesDevelop and implement maintenance plans/schedule for all machinery used in print, cnc/engraving and fabrication areas.-Vendor vetting for material purchases.-Order materials for ongoing and upcoming in-house produced products.-Make press ready print files.-Prepress setup in RIP softwares-Setup CNC, laser engraving/cutting and fabrication files-Update Corebridge with product/project statuses and sub-statuses-Track departmental KPI's-Develop and provide training programs for department team members-Collaborate with sales and project management to supply the customer with the best options for there needs and wants-Update Corebridge system with material pricing based on vendor updates-Maintain the work area for quality of work area and product-Perform departmental one on one's, quarterly evaluations and career path growth plans for each department employee.-Interview and hire for the print and fabrication department-Report to the management group weekly updates on efficiencies and issues.-Vet for equipment upgrades for future growth and efficiencies.
