Provide overall command and control to fighter aircraft performing offensive or defensive operations, interdictions, strikes or escorts. Coordinating with outside agencies to ensure deconfliction as well as safety.Initiate post-mission debriefings; provide pilot and command and control (C2) mission feedback, identify possible trends, and lessons learned while protecting sensitive information.Provide real time airspace briefs to all aircraft flying in and out of a Military Operating Area and maintain safety of flight while coordinating with the Senior Director, Surveillance Team and Data Link Technicians as an experienced Air Weapons Officer on the Battle Management C2 Team.Extensive experience coordinating with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Distributed Training Operations Center, and Fighter Wings while managing the live and simulation flying schedules; ensuring all training objectives are met. Proficient in emergency procedures required to execute the safe return of aircraft and personnel through the successful completion of multiple simulated scenario training.
