Vocal Music Director at South Harrison High School and Middle School in Bethany, Missouri! Go Bulldogs!! I have coached Softball, Football and Baseball throughout my teaching career!My greatest accomplishments thus far are my titles of Husband and Father! #girldadCurrently serve as a Worship Leader at First Baptist Church of Albany, in the town my family and I now call home!I’m working toward my Master’s of Education Degree, seeking K-12 Administration Certification in December 2021. I hope to one day serve as a Principal, so I may advocate for the Arts programs in schools. As a Choir teacher and coach I know that students are often forced to choose one over another, so my goal will be bridging the gaps of Academics, Athletics and the Arts to focus on crating well-rounded and lifelong learners!!Music will always be my passion and I hope to share it with all, inspiring kids and adults to share their gifts/talents, music or otherwise, with others. My performance list is extensive and as a musician I have performed with many choirs, groups oaks as a soloist near and far. My greatest experience as a musician was performing on the Carnegie Hall stage, first time in 2008 and again in 2010!I graduated from Missouri Western State University receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (BME), Choral and Voice Education with a Vocal Performance Emphasis.Student Taught at North Kansas City High School. I was a Resident Assistant in Residence Halls at MWSU for 4 years. While a RA I performed as a sanctuary choir member and worship musician with First Presbyterian Church in St. Joseph, MO.When not at school I work as an independent handyman, with skills in construction, painting, flooring, home maintenance, home repair, concrete, mechanics and mowing/lawn care. I have my Class E license and MODOT certification. I am always open to freelance jobs or gigs during school breaks and in the summer months. Thank you for the view!!
