Helping to decarbonize the transportation and energetic sector, notably through the uptake of Sustainable Aviation Fuels and the implementations of solutions for a net-zero emissions future.◾️ ReFuelEU Aviation Project Manager: Manage the Agency implementation of the regulatory framework for promoting the uptake of Sustainable Aviation Fuels and it's monitoring in Europe. ◾️ Assist in the organization of technical discussions representing EASA at UN-ICAO as well as promote engagement with other relevant international and national organisations, ensuring alignment of activities.◾️ Quantitative analysis of relevant data, in particular with environmental and climate change objectives within aviation.

*𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰-𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘶𝘳* The Fuels Task Group (FTG) was created within the ICAO CAEP - Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection - in order to focus on the work required on sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and lower carbon aviation fuels (LCAF) as part of ICAO initiatives on aviation fuels and is composed of +300 experts on the matter. Some of the topics covered:◾️ Development of proposals on strengthened sustainability criteria for SAF and LCAF◾️ Evaluation of SAF and LCAF production availability ◾️ Classification of feedstocks for the production of SAF

The European Aviation and Environment Working Group (EAEG) is an ECAC/EU working group which has the mandate to ensure European coordination for: (1) major ICAO events, (2) replies to ICAO State letters deemed of high strategic interest for Europe. It maintains and develops ECAC guidance material, such as the ECAC Guidance on Sustainable Aviation Fuels.
