At Hatch, my role within the Digital Solutions team as an Intern was to create a proof of concept application for business use. In my time there I had exposure to a full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation and testing as well as documenting the system.

At Vitruvian, we were working towards implementing a smart algorithm to control motors which could in turn provide resistance for strength based training. Besides using and developing my development skill set at Vitruvian, I also worked on some hands-on tasks such as wiring Arduinos to control digital and analong motors.

At SecureIT I worked in both a Help Desk role as well as Managed Services role. When on Help Desk, I would complete client requests and liaise with them to ensure their problems were resolved adequately. In a Managed Services role, I was on site with clients throughout the day, ensuring things were running well and helping to facilitate infrastructure fixes and changes as needed. The problems mainly consisted of fixing hardware and software issues on desktop computers, as well as server maintenance and workstation setups.
